Last sketch request, for
 of her pet bird Zellkai as a gryphon.Hopefully this sketch is decent enough to serve as a tribute pic in memory of him, as I've just learned that he passed away this year.   The reason he's pictured as a gryphon is because when she told me to draw him, she gave me the option to do it any way I wanted...and one of her suggestions was to draw him as a gryphon. So I couldn't resist.  Also, once I saw her gorgeous ref photos I wanted to color his markings so baaad D': BUT I HAD TO RESTRAIN MYSELF. Because with all the sketch requests I've been trying to keep them all generally monochrome, to be fair... since I only knew the colors of some of the requested characters. 8| Weeelll anyways I hope you like it Chocobodragon! <3 Photoshop and pencil Art (c) Me Basis for character (c) himself :3 Thanks to  for the texture |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
